KUALA LUMPUR, July 2 — DAP veteran Lim Kit Siang has cautioned Pakatan Harapan (PH) against being perceived to be embarking on a witch hunt in government agencies and government-linked companies (GLC).

He said PH must not be seen to be vengeful towards Barisan Nasional (BN) leaders and supporters even as the new government investigates the wrongdoings under the previous regime.

“Pakatan Harapan must never give anyone any basis to think that it is finding any and every excuse, even the slightest one, to get rid of the current crop of leadership at government agencies and government-linked companies to replace them with people aligned to Pakatan Harapan.

“Pakatan Harapan is different and has to show that it is different from BN. Lines must be drawn clearly so that the Pakatan Harapan government is not and is incapable of being suspected of embarking on a journey down the slippery slope of a whole-scale witch-hunt,” the Iskandar Puteri Member of Parliament said in a press statement.

He reminded PH that it had promised to rid political favouritism and victimisation if it came to power.

Lim said Malaysians had witnessed how the BN regime abused power to the extent that innocent people — many of whom are today in Government — were victimised.

Many others, he said, became collateral damage just because they happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time.

“It has been said that before you embark on a journey of revenge, dig two graves — one for the victim, and one for yourselves. This is a warning not to embark on a path of revenge as you can kill the other but you will end up also killing yourself.”

He added that as more details of massive scandals perpetrated under the BN government surface, it must be acknowledged that there are many in the civil service and GLCs who had shown integrity and honesty.

“As a country, we have to move on. Nelson Mandela, the world’s most renowned prisoner of conscience, set up the truth and reconciliation committee. We, too, have to have reconciliation in Malaysia.

“We have to uncover the truth not to seek vengeance but to allow us to better build a bright future for our children and grandchildren, without regard of race, culture, religion or language,” Lim said.

Congratulating the new Cabinet members who were sworn in this morning, Lim said they must be “humble, down-to-earth, approachable, hardworking, clean and honest and be role models of service to the people and nation and not to self and family.”

‘I am not perfect, I am only human’: Najib Razak releases pre-recorded message following arrest

By Low Zoey

03 Jul 2018 11:58PM (Updated: 04 Jul 2018 02:28AM)

KUALA LUMPUR: “I am not perfect, I am only human. However, please believe that these accusations levelled against me and my family are not all true,” said former Malaysia prime minister Najib Razak.

In a pre-recorded video message released on his Twitter and Facebook page several hours after his arrest on Tuesday (Jul 3), Najib reminded Malaysians that none of the investigations into the accusations directed at him and his family have proven conclusive so far.

“I have tried my very best but I realise that it isn’t enough,” he said.

His video message to Malaysians appears to have been recorded in advance, and meant to be released in the event of an arrest.

“My dear Malaysians, if you are listening to this message, it means that actions have been taken against me,” he said.

“There has been a lot of fake news and images spread, many of them false, convoluted and slanderous. Let investigations be conducted first, I have not had the chance to defend myself,” he explained.

In his message, Najib, whose nine-year premiership came to an abrupt end on May 9, said while he was not perfect, he has been a victim of speculation and rumours, containing accusations he said “were not all true”.

"It’s true, our home was raided for days. Yes, I am being investigated and there are goods that have been confiscated. However, none of this is conclusive. There is a lot of news going around, pictures being spread, that are rumourous, false, twisted and slanderous,” he said.

Najib, saying everyone is equal in the eyes of the law, also spoke of divine justice awaiting those who spread “slander”.

“Nobody can escape, not even those in power today, or those who spread rumours while shaming others,” he said.

Since his defeat two weeks ago, Najib and his family members have been the target of police raids, with shocking images of luxury items and bags filled with cash worth millions of dollars seized from his properties linked to him.

He said he was grateful that he was made to face the “the trials of this world”.

“Not everyone has the opportunity to endure worldly trials. We all know that the trials of the afterlife are far more difficult to endure. I will face them firmly,” he said.

“Truly, Almighty Allah is all-knowing, all-merciful and all-compassionate.”

Najib: From powerful PM to graft suspect

AFP

KUALA LUMPUR: From prime minister two months ago to key suspect in a massive corruption scandal, Najib Razak’s stunning fall from grace has been swift and hard.

Since his shock election defeat in May, Najib has faced a tightening noose as the new government headed by his former mentor Dr Mahathir Mohamad ramped up investigations into allegations of graft and excess that have hung over him and his wife Rosmah Mansor for years.

The bland patrician son of one of Malaysia’s founding fathers, Najib, 64, had been groomed for the prime minister’s post from young.

When he took over in 2009, Najib initially presented himself as a reformer.

He made limited changes such as replacing security laws widely criticised as stifling dissent, offering a glimmer of hope for the end to repressive tactics by the once-invincible coalition that had held power for six decades.

But the UK-educated Najib was seen by many as an aloof elitist with little understanding of Malaysia’s common citizenry, a perception accentuated by frequent tone-deaf gaffes and policies such as the 2015 introduction of a sales tax unpopular with the poor and now set to be eliminated.

Rosmah, meanwhile, was a constant lightning rod for critics due to her imperious manner and elaborately coiffed mane of hair, which she once complained cost her RM1,200 per house-call from stylists. Malaysia’s minimum monthly wage at the time was RM900.

That and similar episodes caused her to be reviled in a multi-cultural country where most of the population are modest-living Muslims.

‘Cash is king’

Prime Minister Mahathir has said Najib told him in a private conversation in 2015 that “cash is king” in maintaining political support, a phrase that opponents have turned against Najib as a sign of his hubris and corruption.

Money and power seemed to work as a firewall against Najib through a scandal involving the 2002 purchase of French submarines while he was defence minister, a deal brokered by a close associate of his.

Allegations later emerged of huge kickbacks to Malaysian officials to secure the deal, and the scandal was punctuated by the murder of a Mongolian woman, Altantuya Shaariibuu, who was involved in the negotiations.

Her body was blown up near Kuala Lumpur using military-grade explosives.

Two officers in a special unit that guarded Malaysian ministers were convicted of the killing, but suspicion that Najib and Rosmah were involved has hovered for years, with Najib at one point being forced to deny he had an affair with the 28-year-old Altantuya.

But the final straw was 1MDB, (1Malaysia Development Berhad), the fund Najib launched to promote economic development.

Soon after Najib won a second term in 2013, 1MDB slid into a massive debt hole and allegations surfaced that money was missing.

Public disgust with reports that began to emerge four years ago detailing the plundering of the sovereign wealth fund snowballed into the Mahathir-led electoral tsunami that now has Najib in police cross-hairs.

Billions of dollars are said to be missing in the scandal, nearly US$700 million of which was deposited into Najib’s bank account alone.

US authorities say Najib’s entourage used hundreds of millions in diverted 1MDB funds to purchase high-end real estate in Beverly Hills, New York and London, a Monet painting for US$35 million, a US$5.5 million Van Gogh, a US$35 million Bombardier jet and to finance the 2013 Hollywood film “The Wolf of Wall Street”, which was produced by his stepson Riza Aziz.

A 2015 investigative report by the New York Times also alleged that millions of dollars were used to purchase jewellery for Rosmah.

In a speech last year, US Attorney General Jeff Sessions criticised those allegedly involved in the scandal, adding: “This is kleptocracy at its worst.”

Najib steadfastly denied wrongdoing, while persecuting his accusers and shutting down media outlets that reported on the affair.

Having now lost the protection of power, Najib and Rosmah face a growing public groundswell to see them jailed.

As if sensing this, the once-defiant Najib tweeted after the election: “I apologise for any shortcomings and mistakes.”

Islam Itulah Kebenaran Hakiki – Danial Ariff Shaari

Berikut adalah salah satu komen tersebut;

"Orang kita miskin sebab minta rezeki murah."

Assalammu alaikum salam wr wb.

Sifat Pemurah Dan Pemahal

Memperolok-olok (cara gurauan) kata2 saudaranya mohon murah rezeki.

"Orang kita miskin sebab minta rezeki murah."

Allah SWT berfirman lagi,maksudnya:

Merampas kembali Tradisi

Masagos cabar madrasah S'pura supaya 'rampas kembali tradisi' lahirkan cendekiawan Islam Nusantara

7/10/2017 2:15Oleh: MUHAMMAD FARIS ALFIQ MOHD AFANDI

CONTOH ULAMA PELITA MASYARAKAT

Encik Masagos kemudian memberikan contoh beberapa ulama dan tokoh yang pernah dihasilkan madrasah tempatan dan menjadi pelita masyarakat nusantara, iaitu Prof Dr Hj Awang Mahmud, Ustaz Syed Abdillah Al-Jufri dan Mu’allim Kamil Suhaimi.

(Almarhum Ustaz Syed Abdillah. Gambar: Facebook)

MASAGOS KRITIK ‘ULAMA INTERNET’

The Few

The Prophet said:

"Islam began with a few and it will soon return to a few as it began. Goodnes to those few."

He was asked: Who are those few?

He said:

Those who purify my Sunnah after the people polluted them and those who revive my sunnah after their death.

In another narration:

The few are a few righteous people in the midst of many unrighteous men.

Meaning a few righteous people among the people of al sunnah wal jamaah in the midst of many unrighteous men  of al sunnah wal jamaah .

Not  a few righteous people who some people  like to think are the salafi.

The majority of prophet's ummah they said - the kufar , ahli bidaa, grave worshipper.

And if you obey most of the people on Earth, they will lead you astray. (Quran 6: 116)

And most of mankind will not believe, even if you (O Muhammad) desire it eagerly.(Quran 12: 103)

And truly, most of mankind are rebellious and disobedient (to God). (Quran 5: 49)

But nay, most of mankind are ungrateful. (Quran 12: 38)

Meaning dividing mankind into two group: The Mushirikin and the Believer. Most of the mankind are Mushirikin but a few are the Believer.

What the Prophet said regarding allah words mentioned above:

Follow the way of the largest group of Muslims! Not the most of the people on Earth.

1. Hazrat Abdullah Ibn-e-Abbas says that the Holy Prophet (Peace and Blessings be upon Him) addressed the people at the time of last hajj“O people! I’m leaving behind among you, the Holy book (Quran) and the Sunnah. If you follow these in letter and spirit, you will never be strayed.” (Hakim Al-Mustadrik Book#1 Hadith # 318)

2. The Beloved Prophet (Salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Follow the way of the largest group of Muslims! For, he who deviates from this group will be thrown into Hell!” [Sunnan Ibn Majah, Hadith # 3950]

3. The Beloved Prophet (Salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Allah will never allow my Ummah to unite upon misguidance and incorrect beliefs. Allah’s mercy, blessings and protection are with the largest group of Muslims. And he who deviates from this largest group of Muslims will be thrown into Hell.” (Sunan Al Tirmizi Vol.2 Pg.39)

4. The Beloved Prophet (Salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “He who deviates from the largest group of Muslims, even as much as a hand span, has himself cut off his connection with Islam”. (Abu Dawud)

5. Allah will never let my Ummah agree upon misguidance, and the hand of Allah is over the group (Jama’ah), so follow the great mass of believers (Sawad ul-‘Azam), and whoever dissents from them departs to hell(al-Tirmidhi (4/2167) a narration authenticated and reported by al-Hakim (1/116), and al-Dhahabi agreed with him, Scholars explained that Sawad al Azam here refers to great Ulama

6. Hadrat Abu Masud (RA) narrates: Stick to the Jamaat because Allah azza Wajjal will “NEVER GATHER THE UMMAH OF MUHAMMAD (PEACE BE UPON HIM) UPON MISGUIDANCE” [Imam Tabarani in his Mu’jam al Kabir, Volume No. 17, Page No. 240] – Imam al Haythami declared all the Rijaal of this hadith as “THIQA” [Majma (5/394, Hadith # 9107)]

The above mentioned Hadiths without doubt make clear which group the Beloved Prophet (Salla Allahu ta’ala ‘alayhi wa Sallam) had indicated as being the group of ‘Paradise’, ‘Majority Group’ & the group of ‘Salvation’. For the benefit of any doubting individuals, let it be known, that, no great Imam or scholar of the golden age of Islam ever rejected the above Hadiths as being weak in narration or otherwise impaired in anyway, on contrary the great Imams have whole heartedly accepted these hadiths and further more commented on them.

Dividing the ummah into salaf and khalaf,Sufi and ahlhadis, salafi and ashariah, are practising the worse bidaa.

The truth is that the ummah of the prophet is divided between the righteous and unrighteous people.

Now these people do not call their brother kafir but ahl bidaa.

The brothers of the Prophet are all who believe: The Khalaf

Source: Musnad Aḥmad 12169

The Righteous And The Unrighteous: Who Are They?

A group of Companions said: “The first knowledge to be raised from the people would be humility [khushu].

Reach the heart:

Ibn Mas’ud said: ‘there are a people who recite the Qur’an yet it does not go any further than their throats; were it to reach the heart and take root there-in, it is then that it would benefit”. p. 58

Arrogant Claim:

Umar said:

Whoever says I am a scholar is an ignoramus, whoever says I am a believer is a disbeliever, and whoever says i am in the paradise is in the hell-fire”. p. 61. simply put Islamic salvation does not cater for arrogant claims.

Be Careful Who You Call A Kafir

Assalaam Alakium,

I got this from a message group I belong to and thought it was good.

Bismillahi ar-Rahmani ar-Raheem

In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful

BE CAREFUL WHO YOU CALL A KAFIR

Prophet Muhammad (Salalaho alehe wasalam) said

If a person says to his brother, O KAFIR (disbeliever) ! Then surely one of them is such. (i.e; Kafir) (Sahih Bukhari Volume 8 Book 73 Number 125)

Prophet Muhammad (Salalaho alehe wasalam) said

Any person who calls his brother: O Unbeliever! (then the truth of this label) would return to one of them. If it is true, (then it is) as he asserted, (but if it is not true), then it returns to him (and thus the person who made the accusation is an Unbeliever). [Sahih Muslim Book 001, Number 0117:]

Prophet Muhammad (Salalaho alehe wasalam) has warned us that if a person calls another KAFIR and the person called that is not one, then the individual who made the accusation is a KAFIR. And he/she has to perform TAJDEED-E-IMAAN and TAJDEED-E-NIKAH (if married)

Therefore, if you call other Muslims "kafir" or "mushrik" without discrimination, you could find that you have left Islam, according to the words of the Prophet (s.a.w.), in less than a second.

Be careful who you call Kafir because only Allah knows who is truly a rejector and who is merely a misguided person.

It is not up to us to "sentence" a person to the Hellfire.

Imaan is our actual wealth. So we must be very careful while talking.

Waste no time in debating what a good Muslim should be. Be one!

May Allah (Subhanahu wa ta'la) save all of us from uttering KUFRIA KALMAT. (Allahuma Ameen)

Salaam,
SisterKhadija
