Najib Walked Into An Inquisition With His Eyes Closed

Najib Walked Into An Inquisition With His Eyes Closed

Najib is facing many charges. He must go to court and rip the Prosecution’s case to shreds. And unless the court says Najib is guilty, then he has to be presumed to be innocent according to the spirit of Pakatan Harapan’s ‘Rule of Law’ doctrine. But then even if the court says Najib is not guilty, the Pakatan Harapan people will not accept that and will still insist Najib is guilty.

NO HOLDS BARRED

Raja Petra Kamarudin

Do you believe that God exists? Do you believe that Jesus is the Son of God? Do you believe that the Bible is the Word of God?

If you answer ‘no’ to all or to one of the above during an inquisition you would be pronounced a heretic and would be sentenced to death. An inquisition is not about evidence to support your belief. It is about whether you believe or not. And a ‘no’ answer is punished with death.

Actually, the onus is on those who believe in the existence of God to prove that God does exist. Since you, and not me, are making a claim regarding God’s existence, then it is your job to prove the existence of God, not my job to prove that God does not exist.

And the same goes for the belief that Jesus is the Son of God. How do you know that Jesus is the Son of God? Because the Books of the New Testament say so? Did Jesus write those Books? If not, then who wrote those Books? Has Paul ever met Jesus? How then does Paul know what Jesus said if he never met Jesus other than the voices he heard in his head? If today people claim they hear voices in their heads would they not be locked up?

The foundation of Christianity is the belief in the crucifixion and the resurrection and this belief is based on faith and not evidence

And that is why I do not believe in Christianity, Jesus or the Bible. It is because no one can come forward with evidence to support their beliefs. In fact, they cannot even show us evidence that Jesus is not a myth — or whether there is a historical Jesus and a mythical Jesus and both have been mistakenly taken as one and the same.

That, is the phenomena called faith and belief. When belief is supported with evidence we call it fact but when belief lacks evidence we call it faith. So, in essence, faith is the opposite of fact and faith lacks evidence.

The same goes with the belief that Najib Tun Razak stole billions of 1MDB’s money and that he is behind (or involved in) three murders. If is a belief that has been trumpeted for so many years that that belief has now turned into a sort of religion.

Pakatan Harapan supporters do not wish for facts and evidence to interfere with their beliefs

Just as you cannot turn people from their belief in Jesus and the Bible, you also cannot turn people from their belief that Najib stole billions of 1MDB’s money and that he is somehow linked to three murders.

Najib has to accept this reality and not continue to try to convince people of his innocence. Those who believe Najib is guilty of stealing billions of 1MDB’s money and that he is behind three murders will not change their belief even if Najib does 100 interviews.

This issue has gone beyond talk-shows and interviews. It is now a matter before the courts. In talk-shows and interviews, Najib will be asked to show evidence of his innocence (like what Tun Dr Mahathir asked him to do) while, in court, the Prosecution needs to show evidence to prove Najib’s guilt.

Najib faced an inquisition dressed up as an Aljazeera interview and in an inquisition you are already presumed guilty

What Najib faced yesterday in his Aljazeera interview was an inquisition. They wanted to crucify Najib (and in an inquisition they have already decided you are guilty and they just want you to admit with your own mouth that you are guilty).

The Aljazeera interview was not meant to help Najib clear his name. It was meant to prove to the world that Najib is guilty of all the allegations against him. It was a ‘you are guilty, now prove your innocence’ session.

Anwar Ibrahim and Mahathir also faced the same thing. They crucified Anwar and Mahathir and made them look bad. Anwar could not answer a simple question as to whether he is gay while Mahathir could not answer the question regarding the allegations of corruption against him.

In the interview Anwar was asked three times whether he is gay and he refused to say ‘yes’ or ‘no’

When asked, three times, whether he is gay, Anwar refused to say either ‘yes’ or ‘no’. When asked about the allegations of corruption against him, Mahathir replied he has never been charged for any corrupt act (and since he was never charged that means he is not corrupt).

I suppose since Chin Peng was never tried for any terrorist act that means he was not a CT (Communist Terrorist) and never killed anyone.

The Prosecution needs to prove that Najib is guilty of all the charges against him. Najib just needs to raise reasonable doubt. That should be the focus and the task ahead. Does Najib have evidence to prove his innocence? If he does then the Prosecution’s case collapses and Najib walks free.

Regarding the three murders that they say Najib was involved in, it is now up to the IGP to gather the evidence and to send it to the AG to decide whether to arrest and charge Najib for these murders.

Gopal Sri Ram will need to prove with tangible evidence and not mere hearsay that Najib is guilty

Unless they arrest and charge Najib for three murders, I will insist he is not guilty. I will also insist Najib is not guilty because this was what the one-time Director of the Special Branch personally told me. And they are anti-Najib so why would they tell me Najib is not guilty of murder unless he is not guilty?

Nevertheless, even if the IGP or AG announces that Najib is not guilty of three murders, the Pakatan Harapan supporters will not believe it and will still believe he is guilty of murder. So why go before Aljazeera to try to clear your name when the result will be zero?

Najib is facing many charges. He must go to court and rip the Prosecution’s case to shreds. And unless the court says Najib is guilty, then he has to be presumed to be innocent according to the spirit of Pakatan Harapan’s ‘Rule of Law’ doctrine. But then even if the court says Najib is not guilty, the Pakatan Harapan people will not accept that and will still insist Najib is guilty.

Khairy: New national car project regressive, backward

Khairy: New national car project regressive, backward

Rembau MP Khairy Jamaluddin says a new national car project will not be environmentally friendly, and will cost the government a lot of money.

GEORGE TOWN: A Barisan Nasional (BN) MP today criticised Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s announcement that Malaysia plans to start a new national car project.

Rembau MP Khairy Jamaluddin said given the scrapping of public transport projects like the MRT3, any plans for a new national car were regressive and backward.

He said starting a new national car project was not only unfriendly to the environment in terms of carbon dioxide emissions, it was also bound to cost the government a lot of money which should be used to develop the public transport system.

“Unless this project produces fully electric cars, I do not see the benefits to the people, economy and environment.

“It is also dependent on our ability to achieve economies of scale. If the production scale is small, the targeted economic impact may not be achieved,” he said in a statement.

Khairy said the Cabinet must fine-tune the proposal before agreeing to proceed with the project.

“However, it is my hope that time and resources are given to upgrade our public transport system, such as cooperation with the private sector in improving last-mile connectivity, for instance the e-hailing solution by using cars and motorcycles.

“They should also carry out a holistic feasibility study, including how to reduce costs for the reinstated MRT3 project in the future, or by using a more cost-effective system such as the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) which is not just centred in the Klang Valley,” he said.

Khairy said since 1984, the government had channelled financial assistance to Proton, including easy loans and grants totalling RM15.3 billion.

“A project like this will also burden the people with additional costs, through the excise duties amounting to 105%. This burdens users who wish to buy other brands of vehicles aside from the national car,” he added.

Mahathir said earlier today that he plans to start another national car project, after Proton’s takeover by a Chinese company last year.

He told participants at the annual Nikkei conference in Tokyo that he had started Proton in hopes that the company would remain under local ownership.

“Now it’s been sold to a Chinese company, so it is no longer a national car.

“Our ambition is to start another national car, perhaps with the help of partners from Southeast Asia like Thailand, Japan or Korea, as they have the capacity to produce good quality cars saleable in the world market,” he said.

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 27 — Malaysia’s latest car project should not be called a “national car” at all since Putrajaya said it will not be funded by public funds but by private investments, shadow finance minister Khairy Jamaluddin said today.

In a session with Damansara MP Tony Pua at the Youth Economic Forum 2018 today, the Rembau MP also pointed out that the term “national car” comes with certain connotations, and the government should not repeat the mistake it made with the first marque Proton.

If you open a Malaysian company manufacturing a car, that isn’t a national car. If a private foreign company builds the car here, that isn’t a national car. A national car comes with certain connotations,” said Khairy.

“If it comes from the mouth of the prime minister, it will come with government assistance, whether as a government company or preferential import arrangements which shielded Proton for many years.

“It could come with research and development grants which we gave billions to Proton, these are taxpayers’ money,” he added, after being asked by the moderator on his opinions about the issue.

Furthermore, he pointed out that national cars will have an impact on national behaviour based on what has happened with Proton when it was first manufactured in the 1980s.

The former Umno Youth chief pointed out that import excise was raised to protect Proton which affected the public from purchasing imported vehicles and also changed the behaviour pattern of the government so it would not invest in public transportation.

“We are open to things like Dyson opening a manufacturing plant in Singapore. Call it a car, not a national car.

“Tun also said that a national car is essential to learn technology, but there are other ways to learn technology without a national car,” said Khairy, referring to Dr Mahathir.

Earlier, Pua had said that the national car would not involve public money, but he finally conceded to Khairy’s point of view, to the applause of the gathered crowd.

The two had also bantered with each other on the various topics, much to the delight and laughter of the audience.

Earlier this week, International Trade and Industry Deputy Minister Ong Kian Ming said Putrajaya has received 21 proposals from both local and foreign firms for the third national car project, up from the previous 14 announced earlier.

Tadi lepas pos artworks client, mata saya tertangkap sosok tubuh kurus kering keletihan sedang tidur di kaki lima depan pejabat pos.

Bila tengok beliau tidur dengan nyenyaknya tengah-tengah panas terik tepi jalan yang bising dan sesak ni, saya teringat zaman-zaman saya merempat tidur menumpang masjid dan wakaf taman dulu.

Pernah tak terfikir kenapa pengemis asyik tidur saja?

Image viaIslamidia

Orang kafir dah kepung seluruh rumah Nabi.

Muslim activist says Marina silent on right to wear hijab

Muslim activist says Marina silent on right to wear hijab

PETALING JAYA: A Muslim women’s group who has been championing the right of hotel workers to wear hijab has criticised Marina Mahathir, accusing the daughter of former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad of being selective in defending Muslim women’s rights.

Dr Rafidah Hanim Mokhtar, who leads the International Women’s Alliance for Family Institution and Quality Education (Wafiq) said Marina had remained silent in the wake of the controversy over a ban on female hotel workers from wearing the tudung, but was vocal in condemning an incident in which a man had assaulted a group of Muslim women for not covering their hair.

Rafidah said the man seen in the viral video clip “is hardly representative of the majority of Muslims in Malaysia”.

“Many Muslims have condemned the incident. Surely the action of one misguided man does not serve as evidence of a so-called ‘negative effect of Islamisation’,” she said.

Rafidah said the incident paled in comparison to the discriminatory practice by some hotels to ban their Muslim female employees from wearing the hijab.

“It is regrettable that Marina Mahathir has chosen to focus on the recent anomalous incident of a man slapping a woman without hijab, rather than the much bigger current issue of systematic religious discrimination of female employees of international hotel chains who are forbidden from wearing the hijab by their employers,” she added.

A footage making the rounds on social media shows a man scolding a group of Muslim women at a bus stop for not wearing the hijab, before slapping one of them.

Marina reportedly linked the incident with Islamisation, something she has spoken out in the past and which is the focus of her latest book “Illusions of Democracy”.

Rafidah further criticised Marina’s stand on Arabisation among Muslims in Malaysia.

“Incidentally, it is also ironic that while condemning ‘Arabisation’, Marina chose to name her movement founded in 2009 ‘Musawwah’. Why use an Arabic term rather than a Malay word?” she asked.

Musawwah, which means equality, is a movement seeking to empower Muslim women.

“Rather than be critical of insignificant elements of clothing wrongly attributed to ‘Arabisation’, it is high time that Marina show some consistency and speak up for the rights of women who want to wear the hijab and yet are suffering from profound trauma and stress for not being able to do so because of systematic religious discrimination by more powerful entities,” said Rafidah.

In India, economic reasons behind recent gay sex decriminalisation

In India, economic reasons behind recent gay sex decriminalisation

Alistaire Opinion  September 9, 2018 4 Minutes

By Shahid Bolsen

The decision by the world’s largest democracy (i.e. India) to legalise gay sex was not made democratically.  The majority of India’s citizens do not approve.  For some reason, that is not supposed to matter.  The same was true when same sex marriage was legalised in the US; the majority opposed it; but again, that is not supposed to matter, because… reasons.

So how does a radical fringe minority in the society exert such an irresistible influence over governments?  How does a fraction of a fraction of the population (LGBT activists) bend policy to their will?  The answer is that they don’t.

The LGBT agenda has not been successful because of gay and trans activists.  The corporate sector has been ahead of the curve and pushed the envelope on the LGBT issue, not activists.  To some degree, accepting and promoting the gay lifestyle makes business sense.

In the US alone, the LGBT community is estimated to wield around $800 billion in buying power.  And, let’s be honest, normalizing homosexuality will spread homosexuality, and spreading homosexuality is reliably going to result in spreading HIV.  As we have all learned over the past few years, HIV is no longer a death sentence but rather it is a life sentence of dependence on a cocktail of medications.

The gay community is something of a captive market for drug companies, one which these companies have every reason to want to see grow.  Each new HIV infection calculates to roughly $17,100 profit growth per year.  Globally, there were well over one million new infections last year.

The same capitalist principle applies to transgenderism:- encouraging male-to-female or female-to-male transformations is encouraging lifelong dependence on hormone treatments. Gender reassignment surgery costs around $30,000, with hormone therapy coming in at about $1500 per year.  And that’s just for starters.  Facial feminization treatment, breast implants, and so on, all run in the tens of thousands of dollars.  Each gender transition represents well over $100,000 per person, plus ongoing hormone injections; usually paid out of pocket.

If transgenderism is normalised, it will begin to be covered by insurance; which will undoubtedly encourage those considering transitioning, but who cannot afford it, to go ahead and do it.  Normalising it creates customers not only for Big Pharma, but for insurers.

Over 90% of Fortune 500 companies voluntarily implemented policies that accommodated LGBT employees well before same sex marriage was legalised and well before gay rights became the cause célèbre it is today.  And it is no mystery why.  The LGBT agenda is a good investment.

In today’s world, the flow of social change first appears in the corporate sector, then there is change in legislation and lastly and more slowly, there is change in societal attitudes because the change has been normalised by the two centers of power in society.  This appears to be what happened in India.

Laurus Labs, a pharmaceutical company in Andhra Pradesh, India, is one of the world’s biggest suppliers of ingredients for anti-retrovirals used in HIV medicine.  They received FDA approval earlier this year for their own finished drugs, and are poised to flood the US market with a product estimated to be up to 93% cheaper than other branded HIV medications.

Within six months of FDA approval, gay sex in India was decriminalised, thereby creating more profit potential for Laurus Labs domestically, without the cost of exportation.  You can read it as the US pharmaceutical industry protecting their American market share by opening an alternative for their competitor closer to home, perhaps.

Juxtapose this with the announcement that the government of Narendra Modi, a neoliberal from way back, plans to undertake a major overhaul in the cost control policy for medications in India next year.  Intuitively, one can surmise  that whatever Modi has in mind, it will primarily benefit local pharmaceutical companies, like Laurus Labs, as well as insurance firms.

LGBT activists frequently claim that criminalisation of homosexuality impedes the battle against HIV.  They have positioned legalization of gay sex as a positive public health stance and it isn’t surprising.  The LGBT movement has received upwards of $400 million in funding, much of it from donors connected to the pharmaceutical industry. It may well be true that criminalisation of gay sex creates obstacles for seeking treatment, and seeking treatment is precisely what Big Pharma wants people to do as that is how they make money.

But it is also true that normalization of gay sex creates more HIV infections insofar as it tends to spread homosexuality.  Since the legalization of gay marriage in the United Kingdom, for example, the number of self-identifying homosexuals rose from 1.7% of the population to over 2% in just one year; with some estimating that the real figure could be as high as 10% today.  Homosexuality has risen most dramatically among the young, the demographic group at the highest risk of contracting HIV.  In business language, this is called “market expansion”.

For those who adhere to traditional values, and who would like to stem the spread of homosexuality, it is important to realise the economic interests behind the LGBT advancements, and strategise appropriately.

Najib again calls for release of IPIC-1MDB settlement agreements

Najib again calls for release of IPIC-1MDB settlement agreements

Former prime minister Najib Razak says Putrajaya should look at the bigger picture in resolving the 1MDB issue.

PETALING JAYA: Former prime minister Najib Razak has repeated his call for Putrajaya to release the 2015 and 2017 settlement agreements between 1MDB and the International Petroleum Investment Co (IPIC).

In a Facebook post, Najib responded to Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s “advice” that he make a police report on the possibility that other international players were involved in the 1MDB scandal.

Najib said the present government seems to face the same dilemma he did, which is to see the return of every sen belonging to 1MDB that allegedly went missing.

“It has always been my objective to get back every sen belonging to 1MDB and ensure no money went missing.”

He said the 1MDB funds which allegedly went missing were either received or guaranteed by Abu Dhabi’s state investment firm, and that several senior officials were found to have received and use the funds or were involved in cheating.

Najib said it wasn’t easy to accuse the officials openly as it could strain diplomatic ties and this was why the Barisan Nasional government tried to sign agreements with them twice to ensure a return of the funds.

Essentially, the most recent agreement signed in 2017, would see IPIC returning US$3.5 billion to 1MDB before Dec 31, 2020.

“What happened to that agreement? What is the status?” Najib asked.

“Can the government release this document to the people, as well as the agreement of 2015? If the government is genuine in wanting to uphold the truth and justice, release the documents in its entirety immediately and don’t hide behind the Official Secrets Act.”

Previously, it was reported that the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) had commenced investigations into whether there was any wrongdoing by Najib in agreeing to settle a dispute with IPIC over a missing sum of US$3.5 billion.

Najib also questioned whether the government really wanted to get 1MDB’s money back or continue to politicise it to harass and scare Barisan Nasional leaders.

He urged the government to look at the bigger picture in resolving the 1MDB issue and stop their political games, and focus on the economy and the people rather than prioritising political rivals.

Clear message to jump ship during meeting with Dr M, says Zahid

Clear message to jump ship during meeting with Dr M, says Zahid

Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi says he and other party leaders met with Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

KUALA LUMPUR: Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi today admitted that he and other senior party leaders had met with Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

Zahid said at the meeting, the message was clear.

“The message is very loud and clear that we must jump ship and join PPBM.

“We must dissolve Umno,” he said after delivering the keynote address at the 72nd MIC general assembly at Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC).

Zahid said also present at the meeting was his deputy and Umno’s vice-presidents.

He was responding to questions by reporters on whether he had been personally asked by Mahathir to jump ship.

Zahid, however, refused to elaborate further on the meeting with Mahathir.

Previously, it was reported that Mahathir had welcomed Umno members who wanted to join PPBM.

Zahid also refused to comment on Umno veteran Mustapa Mohamad, better known as Tok Pa, who officially submitted his membership application form to join PPBM to Mahathir, who is the party’s chairman, last night.

“Who is Tok Pa? I don’t know who’s that,” was his response when pressed by the media.

Earlier in his speech, Zahid, who is facing 45 charges related to criminal breach of trust, money laundering and corruption involving more than RM100 million, said he was sure he would not have been charged had he decided to jump ship together with the other Umno leaders who had done so.

He claimed that he was slapped with so many charges because he had refused to jump ship and dissolve Umno and BN.

“I have never seen anyone being slapped with 45 charges. It is a new record in the country and I must congratulate myself.

“I will never jump ship and dissolve Umno and BN. I have to stand firm on this.

“I am innocent, my intention is good and I have never misused the funds as alleged.”

Zahid also warned of the possibility that other leaders, not only from Umno but also from MIC and MCA, would face similar actions from the authorities.

“We must not be afraid and we must defend the truth for the sake of BN,” he said.

Don’t claim power that’s not yours, Guan Eng told

Don’t claim power that’s not yours, Guan Eng told

Sabah activist Zainnal Ajamain. (Facebook pic)

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah rights activist Zainnal Ajamain has accused Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng of impertinence for saying that the formula for revenue sharing between Putrajaya and the East Malaysian states cannot be applied until the federal government can afford to do so.

Zainnal told FMT Lim was presuming he had the power to decide when to give Sabah and Sarawak their rights and displaying his ignorance of the Federal Constitution’s position on the issue.

He was referring to a statement Lim made in the Dewan Rakyat on Wednesday.

“Lim may be the finance minister, but this does not give him the authority to make an announcement on this important issue,” he said.

“Putrajaya has no choice but to pay Sabah and Sarawak what is due to them. This is provided for in the Federal Constitution. There are no two ways about it.”

Under the constitution, Putrajaya is obliged to pay Sabah 40% of the net revenue it collects from the state. For Sarawak, the amount is fixed as an annual income but is subject to review under Article 112D of the constitution.

However, Sabah too has been receiving a fixed amount – RM26 million a year – since 1964, although the annual revenue the federal government collects from the state has been increasing since. International Trade and Industry Minister Darell Leiking has said Putrajaya’s total debt to Sabah has come to about RM1 trillion.

Zainnal spoke of the 1990s as a time of plenty and noted that Dr Mahathir Mohamad was then serving as prime minister.

“He did not pay Sabah and Sarawak then because he was so busy constructing the Petronas Twin Towers, Sepang Circuit and KLIA and organising LIMA (Langkawi International Maritime & Aerospace Exhibition).

“Now Putrajaya is saying the government is in debt and therefore will pay only when it is able.”

He pointed out that the revenue-sharing terms are specified in Annex A of the Malaysia Agreement and that the annex is now part of the Federal Constitution.

He accused Putrajaya of mismanaging funds and penalising Sabah and Sarawak for its own negligence.

The federal government had spent extravagantly to benefit only Peninsular Malaysia, he said.

“Therefore, Putrajaya should excuse us if we don’t have any empathy for the problem it is facing,” he added. “Its debts have nothing to do with Sabah and Sarawak.”

He suggested what he said was a “simple” way to fulfil Putrajaya’s obligation to Sabah: let the Sabah finance ministry collect all taxes and other payments due to the federal government and surrender only 60% of the collection to Putrajaya.

“Sabah can retain 40% of the collection as provided for in Schedule 10, Part IV, Item 2 of the Federal Constitution,” he said. “In this way, Sabahans are assured that whatever is collected from them is given back directly to them.

“For more than five decades, we’ve allowed Kuala Lumpur, and then Putrajaya, to collect for us. And always Kuala Lumpur or Putrajaya will come up with some excuse or other to deny Sabah and Sarawak what is due to them.

“This is a very unequal partnership. Putrajaya is taking advantage of the Sabah and Sarawak governments’ passivity.”

Umno’s Puteri wing chooses to stand by Zahid ‘in trying times’

Umno’s Puteri wing chooses to stand by Zahid ‘in trying times’

Puteri Umno chief Zahida Zarik Khan said her wing will continue to give moral support to the party president during ‘these trying times’.

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 26 — Umno’s Puteri wing has pledged to stand by party president Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi today, even as its Youth wing had yesterday urged him to go on leave until his court cases are resolved.

Puteri Umno chief Zahida Zarik Khan said her wing will continue to give moral support to Zahid during “these trying times”, and will go on defending and protecting the party.

“We are like children who do not have the heart to impose more emotional burden on their ‘father’, who is currently facing some problems, while at the same time, managing this ‘large Umno family’.

“We call for other Umno members, especially Puteri members, to calm down and continue to pray for the best for our leaders and beloved party,” she said in a statement.

Zahida said Puteri has chosen to take a more mature stance by engaging in discussions with the management committee, political bureau as well as the supreme council.

She said the wing understands the challenges faced by an Opposition leader, and believes that Zahid has his own way of dealing with his current predicament.

“He has the right to fight for justice based on the principle of ‘innocent until proven guilty’ and should not face prejudice when speaking to the media.

“Our party currently is being pressured by the ruling government, where we can see our leaders being charged one after another, and there will likely be more to come due to political motives and the selective prosecutions that it is practising,” she said.

Yesterday, Umno Youth chief Datuk Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki said the wing had requested that Zahid take a leave of absence as he said it was unfair that the Umno president is burdened with party duties while fighting various charges in court.

Zahid had last Friday claimed trial to 45 charges of money laundering involving RM72 million and criminal breach of trust (CBT), and accepting bribes involving RM42 million.

"jahatnya Vietnam Selatan!"

Selepas Vietnam Selatan ditawan, Loan berhijrah ke US.

"Two people died in that photograph: the recipient of the bullet and and General Nguyen Ngoc Loan. The general killed the Viet Cong. I killed the general with my camera".

Adams turut berpesan kepada orang ramai:

"Photographs do lie, even without manipulation. They are only half-truths. What the photograph didn’t say was, what would you if you were the general at that time and place on that hot day…"

Jadi, berpada-padalah apabila berkempen.

Mufti patut tampil membuka minda masyarakat, bukannya turut terlibat meminta rakyat menolak parti-parti tertentu.

Malaysia First Country In The World To Get Ex-Convict For PM

Malaysia First Country In The World To Get Ex-Convict For PM

Malaysians talk about change, Malaysians talk about reforms, Malaysians talk about the ‘New’ Malaysia, Malaysians talk about transparency, Malaysians talk about good governance, Malaysians talk about ending corruption and abuse of power, then Malaysians appoint an immoral and corrupt ex-convict as their prime minister.

NO HOLDS BARRED

Raja Petra Kamarudin

Malaysia is not only the first country in the world to get the oldest prime minister in history, it is also going to be the first country in the world to get an ex-convict for a prime minister.

In fact, Malaysia is also the first country in the world to have a prime minister-in-waiting, the first country in the world to treat guarantees as debts, the first country in the world to remove taxes and the cost of living increases, the first country in the world to increase the cost of e-hailing taxis so that the cost of regular taxis would appear cheap, the first country in the world where non-Muslims preach Islam to Muslims, etc.

Anyway, Anwar Ibrahim was convicted for corruption and was sentenced to a six-year jail sentence. Anwar appealed his conviction all the way up to the federal court and lost. He also had to serve his full sentence with no pardon, after which he served his second sentence for sodomy.

Malaysians will appoint an immoral and corrupt ex-convict as their next prime minister

Anwar did not win his appeal or receive a pardon — so that means the high court, appeal court, federal court, pardon’s board, and His Majesty the Agong, all believe Anwar is an immoral and corrupt person.

And this is the man who is supposed to become Malaysia’s eight prime minister — an immoral and corrupt ex-convict who never repented and asked for forgiveness from the Malaysian public for his crime.

Should an immoral and corrupt ex-convict who never repented and never asked for forgiveness from the Malaysian public be entrusted with the job of prime minister? In the UK, an ex-convict cannot even get a credit card or bank loan, let alone become the British prime minister.

Only in Malaysia can an ex-convict who is immoral and corrupt hold the highest office in the land. And only immoral and corrupt people would choose an immoral and corrupt person to become their prime minister.

Tommy Thomas, Mahathir and Equanimity – the con job of the century

Tommy Thomas, Mahathir and Equanimity – the con job of the century

On the 9th of August 2018, Malaysian Attorney-General Tommy Thomas revealed that a Ms Sitpah Selvaratnam had been appointed to advise him and his Chambers on matters of jurisdiction related to the seizure of Equanimity.

According to him, Sitpah was a consultant in a firm that no longer belonged to him.

However, a check by my team revealed that she was attached to a law firm named after him at the time he announced her appointment and is still attached to the said firm, based in Kuala Lumpur.

By appointing a legal counsel who once was (and could still be) under his payroll, Tommy undermined the power and authority bestowed upon an International Affairs Division that sits in his Chambers and threatened to misrepresent the Government of Malaysia as principal legal advisor.

THE THIRD FORCE

On the 9th of August 2018, Malaysian Attorney-General Tommy Thomas revealed that a Ms Sitpah Selvaratnam had been appointed to advise him and his Chambers on matters of jurisdiction related to the seizure of the luxury liner Equanimity. According to him, Sitpah was the most qualified for the job, as not only had she been the chairperson of the Shipping and Admiralty Law Committee of the Bar Council for years and the founding president of the International Malaysian Society of Maritime Law, his Chambers lacked a Specialist Shipping unit with the skill and expertise in shipping and corporate law.

Was Tommy Thomas telling the truth?

No.

A check by my team revealed that the Attorney General’s Chambers (AGC) does have an International Affairs Division (IAD) that previously was part of an Advisory and International Division, or AID. Following a restructuring exercise in 2003, the AID was divided into two separate divisions – the Advisory Division (AD) and the IAD. The split was done to manage increasing workloads and the complexity of municipal and international subject matters. The split was also to develop and enhance the skills and expertise of legal officers in both fields.

Notwithstanding, the IAD has years and years of experience in shipping and corporate law and has dealt with seizures and transfer of authority hundreds of times. What this means, is that Tommy could have relied on expertise from the IAD and need not have appointed Sitpah to advise him.

What exactly is the International Affairs Division for?

The stated objectives of the IAD are as follows:

1. To protect and safeguard Malaysia’s rights and interests in the international arena.

2. To give legal advice and views to the Government of Malaysia (GoM) in accordance with international law and principles taking into account domestic laws, national policies and public interest, and

3. To ensure that Malaysia’s international obligations under any agreements, treaties and conventions which have been signed, agreed upon, ratified, acceded to or participated in by the GoM are carried out in accordance with constitutional provisions and its domestic laws, regulations and policies.

What are its core functions?

The division’s core functions are as follows:

1. Providing legal advice to the GoM and its agencies on all aspects relating to international law and Malaysia’s existing international obligations.

2. Representing the AGC and the GoM in the international for a with a view to protect the interest of Malaysia internationally.

3. Carrying out harmonisation of Malaysia’s domestic laws based on Malaysia’s existing obligations under international law.

4. Providing legal advice to government ministries and agencies on implementation of various international instruments to which Malaysia has become party

5. Assisting in drafting of relevant laws of various legal instruments relevant to Malaysia’s obligations under international treaties.

6. Undertaking relevant research as to matters pertaining to international law.

How extensive is the unit?

When first formed, the IAD had only 27 officers and 22 supporting staff. That increased over time, with the division’s current directory listing more than 60 officers spread over several smaller units, namely, the Border, Territorial and Maritime Matters Unit (BTMMU), the International Criminal Matters Unit (ICMU), the Human Rights and International Organisations Unit (HRIOU), the Bilateral and ASEAN Trade and International Finance Unit (BATIFU), the Multilateral Trade, International Arbitration and Disputes Unit (IADU) and the Environment, Space, Civil Aviation and Private International Law Unit (ESCAPILU).

So it’s confirmed that Tommy Thomas lied?

You bet.

As a matter of fact, he issued a statement saying that Sitpah was a consultant in a firm that no longer belonged to him. However, a check by my team revealed that she was attached to a law firm named after him at the time he announced her appointment and is still attached to the said firm, based in Kuala Lumpur (see picture below).

Sitpah could still be working for Tommy Thomas

Does that not imply a conflict of interest?

It does not just imply it, it validates it.

Tommy Thomas is the Attorney-General of Malaysia. Not only is he the principal legal advisor to the GoM, he is the highest ranking public prosecutor in the country. His powers with regards to prosecution is contained in Article 145(3) of the Federal Constitution of Malaysia, which, among others, dictates that “the Attorney-General shall have power, exercisable at his discretion, to institute, conduct or discontinue any proceedings for an offence.”

In simpler terms, Tommy has the right to decide if or not a matter construed to be an offence can or should be brought to court. The article further states that he reserves the right to determine the courts in which proceedings shall be instituted. Yesterday, the Malaysian Admiralty Court granted an application by the GoM, 1MDB and two of its subsidiaries to sell Equanimity following proceedings in chambers before Justice Khadijah Idris.

Given that Tommy is the principal legal advisor to the GoM, it is likely that he sought Sitpah’s advice on the matter.

Was there an element of subversion?

There were multiple.

Tommy alleged that the AGC lacked a Specialist Shipping unit with the skill and expertise in shipping and corporate law. As we have seen, not only is that a lie, his Chambers has multiple sub-divisions specialised in various aspects of shipping and corporate law that could have dealt with the seizure of Equanimity. By appointing a legal counsel who once was (and could still be) under his payroll, he undermined the power and authority bestowed upon the International Affairs Division and threatened to misrepresent the GoM as principal legal advisor.

That’s not all.

Tommy also implied that the yacht belonged to Low Taek Jho aka Jho Low, who, according to him, performed very intricate and layered transactions through corporate deals designed to hide the true source of funds used to purchase it. What this means, is that the Attorney-General had prejudicially adjudged the yacht to have been purchased using money that Low had a hand in laundering. This, coupled with the GoM’s and 1MDB’s involvement in proceedings and Tommy’s role as the GoM’s legal advisor, points to the idea that the Admiralty Court may deliberately have been misled at some level into thinking that the yacht was purchased using money Low stole from 1MDB.

Was Equanimity purchased using stolen 1MDB funds?

There is absolutely no proof of that.

Allegations pertaining the purchase of the yacht first surfaced in a 15th of June 2017 filing by the United States (US) Department of Justice (DoJ) with a US Court. According to a report, the DoJ alleged that the yacht may have been built and maintained using over US250 million worth of 1MDB funds spirited in four tranches to a Caledonian Bank account in the Cayman Islands. The allegation was triggered by the civil forfeitures complaints Dato’ Seri Khairuddin Abu Hassan and lawyer Matthias Chang filed with the FBI and DoJ in 2015 using fabricated data stolen from PetroSaudi and documents leaked to them by Tan Sri Zeti Akhtar Aziz.

Has the US Court ruled on the matter?

No.

The court did, however, reject an ex parte application by the yacht owner, Cayman (Equanimity) Ltd, to keep the boat in Indonesia pending a sale and ruled that the unit be moved to the US. Two weeks later, on the 17th of April 2018, a South Jakarta District Court ruled that the seizure of the luxury liner by Indonesian authorities was illegal. Then, some eleven days later, the DoJ filed a formal request for mutual legal assistance (MLA) with Indonesia to help the DoJ seize the yacht.

Thus, not only is the seizure of the yacht by the GoM contradictory to Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s original intent of getting to the bottom of controversies surrounding 1MDB, the GoM’s move to bulldoze through the sale of the yacht makes no sense whatsoever, particularly since the DoJ has yet to conduct investigations into matters relating to the purchase of the yacht and has formally made requests for the boat to be handed over to the US.

Why is he determined as hell to sell the yacht?

Beats me.

It’s really difficult to predict what goes on in a sick freak’s mind. Mahathir has no proof whatsoever that the yacht was purchased using 1MDB money, a fact I made very clear on the 13th of August, 2018, and again, on the 18th of August 2018 (see footages below). As a matter of fact, a 17th of August 2018 statement by the DoJ proved that Mahathir lied about the US communicating with him and telling him that Equanimity belonged to Malaysia. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that he is indeed the greatest liar Malaysia has seen to date.

48 hour notice for Dr M to prove he didn’t lie

“Dr M is the greatest Malaysian liar” – Raggie Jessy

Perhaps, by appointing Tommy Thomas as Attorney General and suberting proceedings by the Admiralty Court, he is turning the sale of Equanimity into a smokescreen to conceal his many blunders, the latest being his visit to China which bombed diplomatically. Perhaps also the sale is his way of telling Malaysians that everything he said about Dato’ Seri Najib Tun Razak is true, that both the former premier and Low conspired to botch Malaysia’s dealings with China.

Perhaps, just perhaps, the mission is to imply that his latest diplomatic failure was because Najib and Low messed things up. I mean, how else would one explain his determination to sell the yacht? According to him, the GoM needed to proceed with the sale as it cost Malaysia RM3 million per month to keep the boat on our shores. If indeed it costs that much, why not hand the yacht over to the US and allow the DoJ to get to the bottom of things?

Tell me, wouldn’t that make a helluva lot more sense?

Why have you yet to lodge a police report against Tommy?

Who told you I didn’t?

To be continued…

Itulah situasi politik negara kita sekarang, iaitu orang kafir mendominasi kuasa.

Sebenarnya mereka hanya mahu melindungi sekutu politik kepartian mereka, DAP.
