The one thing that irritates Mahathir most about the PAS-UMNO pact

The only reason Mahathir is opposed to an UMNO-PAS pact is because the pact will prevent him from getting his hands on UMNO’s assets. Source (pic): TTF Files

Following is an article adapted from NST Online complete with responses by TTF (in blue):

KUALA LUMPUR: The Umno-Pas nexus is an attempt to alienate Malays from other races, Pakatan Harapan (PH) chairman Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad said.

Claiming that the pact would adversely affect unity, Dr Mahathir, who is also the prime minister, stressed that the Malay interests would be looked after by PH.

TTF:Let me put things in perspective here for you, Tun.

Prior to the 14th general election, you openly admitted that your mission was to remove Najib from power.

You confessed, that in politics, it’s normal for one to rub shoulders with the adversary if the goal is to defeat the common enemy.

Hinged on this philosophy, you rubbed shoulders with a known Islamophobist, Lim Kit Siang, who spent decades pitting the Chinese against Islam and the Malays against themselves.

You were so obsessed with the need to wrest control of government from Najib that you allowed the Islamophobist to loot the wealth of the Malay-Muslims and even partook in the looting yourself.

You spent decades polarising the nation and are now helping the DAP polarise the Malays.

And when the Malay majority chose to unite behind a PAS-UMNO pact to safeguard the religion of Islam, you accuse them of turning against the non-Malays.

I guess my Tok Guru was right.

He said;

“Jangan sampai Mahathir ni mati dalam keadaan lebih hina daripada ketika dia letak jawatan sebagai Perdana Menteri.”

Actually, I’ve even heard another fellow say the exact same thing to me…

The NST Online continued…

“We are also looking after the interest of the Malays, except that we don’t shout about it.

“They (Umno-PAS pact) try to separate the Malays from other races, that is very bad for a multiracial country.

“The interest of the Malays will be looked after by PH. We want to make sure that it is not only equal but fair,” Dr Mahathir told the media after the opening of the first meeting of the second session of the 14th Parliament by Yang Di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah.

TTF: How could it possibly be true that PH is looking after the interests of the Malays?

For the sake of argument, let’s just assume that whatever is happening today is happening because your intent is to awaken the Muslims by letting the DAP get away with murder.

If indeed that is the case, why in blazes did you need to risk splitting the Malays by rubbing shoulders with the enemies of Islam?

Why did you not instead build a new party, contest the general election on the pretext that your successors failed to unite the Malays and declare that your mission was to unite them?

You didn’t, because you knew that had you done so, Najib would have pushed for the unification of UMNO and PAS and turned your election campaign into a laughing stock.

Correct?

So you decided that you needed to create a problem where there wasn’t one before telling all and sundry that only you could solve it.

That is when you hatched a plot together with Zeti Akhtar Aziz, Maybank, Ambiga Sreenevasan, Clare Rewcastle Brown, Matthias Chang and George Soros to sabotage 1MDB.

Once the sabotage was complete and news that the wealth fund lost RM42 billion went viral, you paid the world media a helluva lot of money to demonise Najib in hopes that Malaysians would think of him as a greater crook than you are.

Truth is, the only thing you ever cared about was UMNO’s assets and ways you could get a hold of them.

To accomplish this, you tried to split UMNO into a million pieces, hoping that the party would become so divided that everyone would agree to a PPBM-UMNO merger and allow you to control it’s assets.

But the plan backfired when UMNO formed a pact with PAS.

It is that which bothers you most, isn’t it?

From day one, you knew that the only one who would benefit most from the pact is Hadi given UMNO’s wealth and capacity to bankroll election campaigns.

It just hit you like a wall of bricks that your efforts to turn PAS grassroots against UMNO by faking stories about Najib having paid PAS’ “top echelons” RM90 million have all gone down the drain.

You think I’m stupid???
